Anxiety and Overthinking
Anxiety & Overthinking Counselling in Plymouth and Online
Do you feel like your mind never switches off?
Perhaps you find yourself constantly worrying about what might happen, replaying conversations long after they have ended, or imagining worst case scenarios. You may feel exhausted by your thoughts yet unable to stop them.
Anxiety can affect every part of life. It can impact your sleep, confidence, relationships and ability to enjoy the present moment.
You may recognise some of the following:
-
Overthinking conversations and interactions
-
Feeling responsible for everyone else's feelings
-
Difficulty relaxing
-
Constant worry about the future
-
Panic or feelings of overwhelm
-
Difficulty making decisions
-
Sleep problems cause by racing thoughts
-
Feeling tense or on edge
Anxiety is not a sign of weakness. Often it develops as a way of trying to stay safe and prepared. While it may have helped at one time, it can become exhausting when it starts to take over daily life.
Together we explore what may be contributing to your anxiety, identify patterns, develop practical coping strategies and help you build greater confidence in managing difficult thoughts and feelings.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood, supported and gently challenged when needed. My aim is not to keep you stuck in your struggles, but to help you move towards the life you want to live.
Sessions are available in Plymouth and online.
