Counselling & Pre Trial Therapy Services in Plymouth and Online
“Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure what to do next?”
I work with adults and young people 16+ who are finding life difficult or overwhelming, including those facing trauma, major life transitions, police investigation or court proceedings. You don’t have to carry it alone. Together, we will untangle your thoughts and find a way forward.
I’m Tia Webber, a qualified counsellor based in Plymouth, offering in person and online sessions for adults and young adults. I have experience supporting clients with childhood trauma, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, major life transitions, and the emotional impact of court proceedings.

Counselling with me isn’t about quick fixes — it’s about creating a space where you can talk openly, without judgement, and begin to make sense of what’s on your mind. Together, we’ll reflect, find ways to cope with the tough stuff, and build the confidence and tools you need to move towards the changes you’d like to see in your life.

How I can help
“Do you ever feel like no one really understands what you’re going through? That life keeps throwing challenges at you, and you’re not sure how to cope?"

Together, we’ll explore what’s happening for you, process difficult experiences and find practical ways to make life feel a little lighter.

I support adults, young people, students, and professionals:
Childhood Trauma
Criminal Court Proceedings
Family Court and Child arrangement proceedings
Emotional stress before, during or after trial.
Workplace Stress and Emotional exhaustion
Low confidence and Self worth
Grief and Major life changes
Relationship Difficulties
Divorce and separation
You’ll find a space here where you can be honest, reflect, and start taking steps toward feeling more in control.
Pre Trial Therapy and Court Process Support
Being involved in any form of police investigation or court process can be emotionally demanding. Whether you are going through family court proceedings, child arrangements, domestic abuse related hearings, criminal court or divorce, the experience can affect your sense of stability and safety.

The period leading up to a hearing or trial often brings heightened anxiety, disrupted sleep, intrusive thoughts, and ongoing stress. The conclusion of proceedings can also carry complex emotions, including relief, anger, grief, or uncertainty about what comes next.

I provide therapeutic support for adults in Plymouth and online across the UK who are navigating the emotional impact of legal proceedings. Support may include:
-
Managing anxiety before hearings
-
Dealing with trauma
-
Preparing emotionally for giving evidence
-
Coping with uncertainty and long waiting periods
-
Strengthening emotional regulation
-
Processing what has happened after proceedings end
You do not have to face the court process alone.
What makes my approach different
Counselling shouldn’t feel distant or clinical, it should feel human. My approach is down to earth, warm, and practical.

Here’s what working with me looks like:
-
Tailored Support: Sessions shaped around your needs, experiences, and pace
-
Real Change: Practical strategies to help you cope, reflect, and move forward
-
Exploring the Whole You: We’ll look at present challenges and past experiences, including trauma, to understand how they affect your life today
-
Flexible Options: Face to face counselling, Online counselling and Walk & Talk therapy depending on what works best for you
I’m here to help you untangle your thoughts, process your feelings, and start building a life that feels more manageable, confident, and meaningful one step at a time.
Testimonals
"Tia chose the correct pace for me to explore what was happening, to both my mind and my body, to identify triggers and analyse my thought processes to incite both understanding and change. We were able to explore different elements of my life which were obviously interconnecting. The environment was very safe and non judgemental and I was able to express how I was feeling on a weekly basis, to identify positive change."
"I cannot recommend Tia enough, she was able to reach me when everything had shut down, quickly understand the situation and me as a person. Tia gave me the support and encouragement to use the tools to help myself and get back on track. Don't think I could of done it without her to be honest."

"As someone who was very nervous to start counselling, I strongly recommend Tia. Within the first hour I was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed, she is so easy to talk to. Over the course of the sessions we were able to overcome many obstacles and I now feel far less anxious and much better equipped to deal with anxiety in the future."

"Tia is an exceptional counsellor. She creates a safe and non-judgmental space, making it easy to open up. Her empathetic listening and insightful guidance have significantly improved my mental well-being. I highly recommend Tia to anyone seeking compassionate and effective support."
