About me
Hey there! I'm Tia, a Pluralistic Counsellor with a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges. I believe that everyone has a unique story to tell, and I'm here to listen with an open heart and mind.

As a counsellor, I've had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life, from young people aged 12-25 to adults dealing with a range of issues.
My approach is influenced by Person Centred, Psychodynamic, and CBT theories, which means I tailor my approach to meet the needs of each individual. And, if you prefer to talk while taking a walk, I offer walk-and-talk counselling sessions – because sometimes fresh air can work wonders!

I've had the privilege of working with clients who have faced depression, anxiety, bereavement, and relationship breakdowns. I've also worked with couples seeking to improve communication, build trust, and navigate life's ups and downs together.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked as a Family Support Worker in Children's Social Care, providing a safe space for parents and children to reconnect. I've also volunteered with organisations that support children who have witnessed domestic abuse, as well as individuals with severe mental health needs and special needs.

When I'm not working, you can find me curled up with a good book, spending time with my husband and our furry family member (our dog!). I'm excited to connect with you and explore how I can support you on your journey.
